I have a Shannon Brown 3clr exquisite patch auto and was wondering what you guys think is the potential ceiling for this card if he shines in the NBA FINALS.

Please let me know your thoughts and opinions and when you think is the best time to sell
thanks

I've been collecting Shannon Brown off and on since his rookie year, and I just hope they make it back up to his rookie year prices. I think they were around the $40-50 mark when they first came out, then started to go down when he didn't get much playing time. I picked up a few last year and earlier this year when they were at around $10, and I wish I had bought more just so I could have a bunch. Being in the playoffs has pushed them to $25-30, but unless he starts scoring points consistently I don't think they'll get much higher than that.

ok thanks for the input. I have always liked Shannon Brown and thought he could be a great player after watching him at MSU and in H.S.

Now is the time to sell. I don't think he'll ever be much of a player. He can't play SG because he's not a good enough shooter, and he can't play PG because he isn't a good enough passer.

If the Lakers win the finals (which I think they will) sell midway through because he's done fairly well thusfar in the playoffs.

I agree with that statement, that you are basically saying he is a tweener or hybrid and does not have a natural position. But i do think he can find a place on a championship level team and be a good 6th man and spark off the bench

Yeah, I'd say 6th man sparkplug is his ceiling. Unfortunately, there isn't a huge market for those guys' exquisites, so being in the finals may be as high as his stock ever gets.
