A sad but necessary day. I've been a fan of his since Orlando when I was a kid. I wonder if he'll still continue to do Shaq Vs. I wouldn't mind seeing him do something on tv, because he's a very entertaining guy.

I agree!
The good old days of Shaq, Penny, Hardaway, Grant... oh man!

He's very entertaining! I love his recent appearance with the Jabbawockeez.

Very entertaining guy, on and off the court. My favorite quote from when he was in Greece for one of the World Championships:

Q: Did you go see the Panthenon?
A: Nah, I didn't go to any Clubs...

People might forget how BIG his cards were his first coupla years. Alot of folks probably regret spending $300+ on his first Beam Team card (BV now $60ish) ...

One of my all time favorites. It was time though. I'd love to see him appear in the WWE 8-)

Hmm, Kane could use a partner since Big Show got run over by a car.

When SP Premiered, I hit the Die Cut Holoview Shaq card. Sold it for 600.00 the week it came out. It was one of the few that had huge value at the time.

It just dawned on me that Shaq will now have a ton of spare time to work on his rap career (that could be a good or a bad thing). He actually had a few decent songs, or maybe I just like them because I like him. He has had some that made me ::facepalm:: though.
