I was looking at FA/Tradable arms, and these guys make the list'

I heard Boston has some interest in Sheets, but other than that, nothing really on the market for these guys yet

Rumor is that the O's is interested in either Sheets and Bedard, but O's prefer to give 1 year contract which would repel these pitchers from coming to Baltimore...

I wouldn't mind to have one of them to provide leadership to the young rotation. Guthrie isn't the ace (#1 pitcher) and hasn't been like one ever since he captured the O's pitching throne...

I don't see sheets signing for more than 2 years ... that shoulder surgery he's coming back from is a major one, and no team's going to give him a big contract.

I think Harden is a solid starter, but would be an amazing closer.

Similar to Kerry Wood stuff

He can throw a good fastball, but his stamina and endurance seem to get worse as the game progresses

Twins will probably go after Harden seeing as they made a waiver claim on him last year. Thats if he would sign an incentive laden deal ala Joe Crede.

This was mentioned on ESPN insider.

The Twins could offer him a one year incentive laden deal. If he stays healthy and pitches like he does, he could prove himself worthy of a multi-year contract.

I have heard a rumor of Sheets to Boston, a la Smoltz. One year deal, test the arm and see where things go. There has also been mentioned that Sheets could be on the Mets radar, but it kind of depends on Oliver Perez.

As for Bedard, haven't heard anything much. Just a rumor of a one year deal in KC, but I cannot seem to find the article I read it in now (I swear saw it on ESPN insider).
