Sheldon Neuse 2010 BCDP USA 16U Autos are LIVE

Got some Tri-Star Fulfillment envelopes in the mail today and they contained Sheldon Neuse Ref and Gold Ref Autos. Pretty cool because I was waiting on these since December, but when I went to scan them I immediately noticed something odd. These are the thickest Bowman Chrome cards ever produced. Think Triple Threads Relic thickness, 96 or 108pt. stock. One has a horrible surface bubble and condition sensativity is going to be key with these cards. They may be Redemptions but I'm going to guess most don't come back Gems like the other 16U Autos.

I got one too. I think the card is a big sticker placed on top of a thick blank card. Which is why you see the bubbling. So it is essentially a sticker auto, on a sticker, on a card.

I'm a little confused. I thought these were from the 16U set. Or did he have 2 like Almora? If he only has the 16U why does it not have the flag in the backround? This is the only Gold I need to finish my set but I'm not sure what to think if it doesn't have the flag backround like the rest of the cards.

Interesting. I had a redemption for a printing plate auto that Topps sent replacements for about a month ago. They sent me a 2010 Topps Chrome plate auto of Carlos Santana and a box of Triple Threads that contained an Ike Davis auto RC so I'm not complaining. Just not sure why they were so quick to replace as I didn't request it.

...and made Nick Travieso an auto instead. His card has the flag background.

Just checked the status of mine on the Topps site and it says Shipped, but they have 08/07/11 as the shipping date... hopefully that's an error.

Its not missing, its a asymmetrical design... sometimes it works in art however in this case with an additional border... it does not.

Speaking of asymmetrical... what does the back look like on your thick card? The back of mine is either way off center... OR... the asymmetrical design is continued because it follows the theme of the front design.
