I don't understand why Jaypers felt compelled to lie. Obviously we all take hits on cards; I took a bath on a ton of stuff over the winter when I lost my job and could no longer afford to sit on stuff I didn't intend to sell, and was thus forced to sell plenty for well below what I had paid at pretty much the worst time to sell in years. It's not a big deal, why lie?

I think he might have been being sarcastic. He obviously doesn't have to disclose his choice for selling it at this time. Manning's question is not altogether unreasonable either though.

Generally, I don't buy cards with the intention to flip them for more money, so my view on this may be off. With that said, what business is it of yours to criticize someone else's selling decisions? The fact that you'd keep track of Jayper's purchases/sales is creepy to say the least. Frankly, it's none of your business (or anyone else's for that matter).

Again, I don't prospect so I have a slightly different perspective. I understand tracking prices of certain cards makes sense for a prospector, but to call out any individual prospector's buy/flip prices...sheesh. You have too much time on your hands.

Yeah that kind of logic would annoy me enough to not deal with the seller. She raised the price by 100 dollars every time she relisted it for awhile. Usually it goes the other way until the price finds its way into buyers' price ranges, although the seller doesn't seem to want to sell the card at all unless someone offers her about twice as much as it's actually worth. Looks like she'll be holding it for a long time.
