Well, I finally got a package from Topps today, and needless to say - I'm quite disappointed. 15 2013 Topps Chrome autos, all base. NO color, NO refractors, NO bigger names. I knew I was gonna get the absolute bare minimum out of this, but I'm still a bit upset. Here's what they sent me:
Base Chrome Autos
Darin Ruf #16
L.J. Hoes #154
Adeiny Hechavarria #116
Avisail Garcia #66
Casey Kelly #105
Jake Odorizzi #192
Didi Gregorius #65
Bruce Rondon #85
Melky Mesa #157
Alfredo Marte #189
Jedd Gyorko #178
Carlos Martinez #107
Tyler Skaggs #88
jeurys Familia #59
Allen Webster #112
Brandon Maurer #102
For those of you wondering why I was asking for a little bit more as compensation - they just sent me about $15 worth of autos. Had these been in my case when I cracked it (2 days after the product went live), I would have gotten a LOT more out of them. Not to mention the fact that at least one or two of these might have been refractors or even color refractors. I'd be lucky to grab $1 or $2 each for most of these at this point.
So what now? Do I just accept this bare minimum effort or do I keep pushing them?
Greg
I 100% agree with this... but he knew this was an option and opt'ed not to do it... therefore, he is left with what we ALL knew Topps would do - send him 15 crappy base autos or whatever. The absolute only play here was for you to ship EVERY card back from the break. I would have shipped them all back in the wrappers in the boxes and in the original case with a letter explaining the situation.
It's not acceptable for the Indiana Lottery to simply send me 12-$1 winning tickets when I scratched off 12 tickets and there was a print defect that left no ink under the scratch pad. I would expect 12 new tickets and a chance at a larger prize.

you were right when you said "might" did you get any other color autos? if so them most likly you would of got these cards. Also seems like they tok good care of you really fast too.Not to mention the fact that at least one or two of these might have been refractors or even color refractors
And when you scatch them off and get 12 losers should you now get 12 more? No. They gave you as advertised.
Wait... you're saying if they sent you 12 unscratched tickets as a replacement and when you scratched them off, every one of them was a winner - you wouldn't accept them?!I don't think you understood what I'm saying.
If they sent me 12 scratched tickets that were $1 winners to replace my 12 defective tickets I wouldn't accept them.

I never win scratch offs, let alone 12 in a row lol... Now I am confused.

man you got gypped! Not a single redemption in the bunch. You'd think that for 15 autos shorted, at least 1-2 should have been redemptions that they would turn into Don Sutton or Dwight Gooden custom redemption replacement cards after a 2 year wait.
Someone said he got the blue in the packsYou got got.
They owe you two refs and a blue, plain and simple, that's what the odds state.

I've tried asking for what was pulled and got b!tched at for quote "it shouldn't matter ha the got" and then that spun out I control with a hypothetical that even if he pulled a Babe Ruth 1/1 cut, he would of still made the thread and gone to all this trouble blah blah
