One party can't contractually be required to complete a sale, while the other party gets to pick and choose whether they would like to or not. The agreement of the transaction falls on both.

I only stated to use another ID, because if the seller has half a brain, he will have added the disgruntled buyer to his Blocked Bidder List.

I always thought sellers actually weren't required to complete the sale if the seller didn't want to. "ebay is only a venue"

Also, it seems that ebay no longer tells you if the user is no longer registered - I think ebay only restricts accounts now until strikes are removed. Is this new??

In so many ways people put too much faith in the good ol' 'bay.

[quote="Mark McGwire Museum":3jzhfmnu]1. Leave him a negative
2. Watch for him to relist the item
3. Win it at all costs with another ID
4. Once received, file a fraudulent Item Not As Described
5. Send back random cards with delivery confirmation (You will win the paypal decision)
6. After a month or so send him a money order for the amount owed in the first auction.
7. If you are still bitter, slap that ass with another negative.

Sometimes two wrongs DO make a right.
That would work if you'd want to work the system a little

It did a few weeks back when I won a card for 99 cents and a day later I went to pay and it said the user was no longer a registered user.I hope they keep it that way too.Imagine not getting your cards because the guy has been kicked off and then waiting the max amount of time for every transaction because you are not sure whats going on.They'd be dumb to do that. Not that Ebay isn't dumb already. But that would be dumb dumb.

Seller Non-Performance

(You will need to click on the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION arrow to see this)

What buyers can do if they feel a seller has violated the seller performance policy

If a seller refuses to complete a sale and you haven't sent a payment, or your payment has been refunded, you can report the seller. When you send your report, include a copy of the email that includes the seller's refusal to complete the sale with the full message text and complete email headers.

I do believe I won a lot off of him a long time ago that had a Jed Lowrie Redemption AUTO in it (the Lowrie alone would have gone more than I won the entire lot for) and I got the lot in and the Redemption had already been redeemed....

I emailed him and after a long go around, ultimately settled for a $15 refund.....I think this guy is very shady on his redemptions and is really looking to pull a fast one when they are included in his lot. I left him a positive only because I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he bought these elsewhere and he himself was getting screwed, but looks like I should have left him a negative as well......

Good luck

And this is why people shouldn't be so afraid to leave negatives.

I suppose we'll have to look for further auctions with these lots in the future.

Damaged?! I'd request to at least get a picture of the cards WITH the damage clearly shown.
