He's an asset to the boards. Sure he can be stupid sometimes, but he's got a nice collection and has worthwhile posts.

why should anyone be banned for longer than 2 days?

If he was suspended just because a few think he might be annoying and might make a few dump posts..... get over yourself and realize its just a message board on the internet... if it offends you that badly.... turn the computer off and go outside.

He was banned for starting and posting in the MT. Apparently they didnt want him starting it or posting in it, So they complained about it. He started it a few times and a few of them would start another one. Imagine grown men getting that upset over who started a thread? Imagine not being able to post in a thread because an outsider started it? If you are not a "regular" they ignore your posts in it. They warned him about not posting in it, He ignored those requests and posted anyway. I laugh every time it comes to mind, Honestly imagine some guy sitting at his comp all upset, That someone started a thread and having to start a new one? A few of the regulars sent him pm's asking him to not start it, because he didnt have their permission to do so. At that point, You should log off and take a break for a month to regain your sanity.

::facepalm::

If so, it definitely does not warrant a permanent ban. Or in this case: month-long, or so.

If that is true.... people really need to grow up.

I always thought the MT was quite dumb anyway.... so why doesnt Gilmore just create a section just for them.

It wasn't simply posting in the MT that got him the boot, and anyone who says so is just spreading misinformation.

Miggy was suspended for CONSTANT trolling. It just happened to be in the morning thread this time.

One poster if persistent enough can degrade a website like this, and I for one do not want that to happen.
