Show me your UD replacements

Hey guys,

Haven't seen a post like this in a while, and had a CRAPPY mail-day yesterday, so I figured I'd share.

I opened a couple boxes of SPA back in Nov, and this was one of my box hits.

For once, I pulled a decent player. Numbered to 15 to boot! Then, I looked at the letter. Now call it nitpicky if you want, but being that these are manufactured and not GU, I would expect all the letters to be in good shape. But as you can see, this one is frayed and crooked. So, I emailed UD about, they asked me what I liked, I said SPA Letters and Sweet Spot, and they sent me these (2 months, 7 emails, and 3 phone calls later).

Verdict = FAIL

Actually, the only upside to that one is that it's going to a good friend of mine in the blog community.

I had a redemption for a Jeter/Ripken dual auto card from Ult Sig and they replaced it. I received these 2 out of the deal:

Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The redemption only cost 230, and I sold both of these for 300 a piece.

I'll add to this thread...I was supposed to receive a 2007 Sweet Spot Classic Cal Ripken Jr/Wade Boggs dual auto and waited over 1 year (I have all the patience in the world though ) and got this as my replacement:

I got this for a David Ortiz Exquisite with a horribly cut off sticker auto a few years ago. Now, Topps replacements on the other hand I've always lost out on ... big time.

And for those Teixiera 8x10's I would think you can make a nice bit of money now. Those are nice!

Was this one of those "In Action" shots??? They do make a lovely... rug.

I waited around 7 months for this to be redemded.

After a lot of e-mails I finally got the jersey, but instead of a 1987 Clark jersey, I got a 1988 jersey with no name plate on the back. I was really disappointed with that, the style of the jersey is no different but it should say "CLARK" on the back, not just 22. And I'm still waiting on my Mystery Cuts Auto to be mailed.

I had a 2007 SPx Kevin Slowey Rookie Signatures card (BV: $25.00) in the UD system to be redeemed since 11/2007 and the status was waiting for player to sign. Funny thing is they released some of the redemptions since I bought one last year for $8.00 on ebay in order to complete my 2007 UD SPx Master Set. So I ask UD to replace the card with something else. Here is what arrived in my mailbox.
