Just thought I'd make a thread where everyone can show off a random favorite of theirs that they rarely get to show off. If there is a story, feel free to share!

--Nolan Ryan GU #4/5--
My mom surprised me on Christmas a few years ago with a pack of 05 Timeless Treasures. Pulled this Ryan which will always remain in the PC.

I was never a huge fan of the 48-49 Leaf set, until I got this card.

My Sex in the City auto! This is Sarah Jessica Parker during that time of the month.

But here is mine really. I don't show it much because I do not do alot of Basketball these days. These are 2 of my top 5 favorite players ever to watch!

Kevin (Pinbreaker) pulled this beauty awhile ago. He and I worked out a price we both thought was fair...and now it will forever be locked up in my PC.

Here is the very first Rod Carew bat card I bought several years ago. Paid a lot for it, as there weren't many Carew bats at that time:

Here is a rare Pete Rose card that's from a test issue Topps thought about trying in 1988. It's actually listed in Beckett as "1988 Topps Cloth". Topps thought they might insert special cloth type cards in packs, but when they printed these, they realized it wasn't going to work and ditched their plans. A few 11x11 uncut sheets made their way out of Topps, and that's where this card came from.

I have been told that without question, this is Pete's rarest card before the 1/1 insert era. I don't know if that's true or not, but it's certainly rare.

The cloth ones are definitely rare. Not sure I've heard a firm print run.

Probably my least expensive Upton auto but still my favorite. Not gotten by me but I just love the way it pops

Don't know if I've ever posted this over here but it's one of my favorites.

My first IP auto. He wasn't my favorite player, but he was the only guy who stopped to sign. I know you can't really see the auto, I only had a blue ballpoint, and the dark card didn't match up well. Rookie mistake! ::facepalm:: I definitely don't have to worry about having to sweat over selling a PC item, because there is no demand at all.
But it's still cool to me and my team won the game! I even got to fail miserably on one of those halfcourt-contest shots... Here's another cool card I dig that most would blow off, low BV but that's not important for PC items anyway.
