Heres mine....
I got this signed at a show. He was very personable & spent a couple of minutes chatting with each person he signed for. It was paid for by someone close to me that didnt have a lot of money. she saved up the 20 or 30 bucks it cost & surprised me by picking me up & taking me to the show where he was signing. It will never NEVER leave my PC. Its also my 1st autographed card, pack pulled or otherwise.

I know this is the baseball board, but...

Vinny Testaverde was a favorite QB of mine growing up, and is also a former Miami Hurricane. He played for the Dallas Cowboys (my favorite NFL team), and also played for the Jets and Buccaneers, who I casually rooted for growing up as well.

He was the #1 overall pick in 1987, the year I was born. This card is stamped from the Chicago National Convention, which was held on March 3 (as you can see). It just so happens that March 3 is my birthday. So this card has a few connections to my personal life.

Here is a Jeff Bagwell game-ready fielder's glove; it was made in 1998 and issued for Bagwell's use the next year. It was prepped for game-use with light glove oil, but AFAIK never made it into an actual game.

Fielder's gloves are really rare, and I've heard Bagwell has kept all his actual game-used gloves. So - this game-ready glove is probably my favorite item.

My dad got me into collecting when I was 8...we'd buy some retail variety boxes here and there, and I didn't really get into opening a whole lot of stuff until this set came out...me and my dad pulled this from a box we opened together:

Nice.

Especially considering it is one of the few Klusewski cards not showing off his bare "guns."

I ripped this idea off from Prozac. I thought it was really a cool idea and when I heard he was going to be around, I grabbed my extra Jumbo and got it signed IP.

I have a letter from Buck O'Neil, signed Buck.
He wrote back in response to the letter I sent after he was not elected into the HOF. I guess I should really get a scan or pic of it.

i got these cleats from my cousin, rob *****, who played in the nfl from 1992-1997 with the dolphins and bills. he knew i collected and surprised me with these following jim kelly's final season in the nfl. they are his gamers from his final game at rich stadium complete w/ astro turf stuck to a piece of gum on the sole. i was offered $2000 at the 2000 national but since they were a gift, i couldn't bring myself to sell them.
