I broke my cornerstones into 2 different fields- Player collections including memorabilia & Cards overall

The Type of Bat I dreamed of owning while at the ballpark watching him go deep from 90-01 when i saw him play.
It is the best kind of GU McGwire Bat you can own. Along with mine, i have seen only 3 other HR Notated Mac Bats and 2 of those are in the Hall Of Fame. My Most Desired and Prized piece of sports memorabilia. Made Possible because of a relatively short 3 Drive to Sunbury PA and a GPS System. Acquired in a cash/trade in which i basically stole the bat.

His Most Expensive and Most Elusive Card To Find for Mac Collectors and Mostly because of APOH 500 Auto Set Collectors.
I have seen 1 for sale in past 4 years. MY White Whale of all Cards.

Signed By Musial and Mac Through Private Signings, Waited 17 Hours in Florida heat to have this finished off by Pujols at the Cardinals Spring Training Autograph Event in February of 2011. 1 of the only 3 sit down public signings Pujols does all year.

Equipment - The Kind of Equipment I fantasized and always dreamed of owning when i used to sit at Yankee Stadium and Shea Stadium during his playing days. All of which are high quality and have great use and significance.
-HR Cleats inscribed 9/20/95 on both. Hit career HR 272 on that date
HR Batting Glove - Incrbibed HR 582 9-28-01 - The next to last final career HR
GU Hat- sweat stained on outside with red hairs inside. LEGIT Mac GU Hats are IMPOSSIBLE to find

My first and only Jordan Autograph. The picture on the card is one of the most famous Shots in the History of the NBA.
His foul line dunk from the 88 Slam Dunk Contest.

In the Age of the Stunning Exquisite Football Inserts produced, this card of my favorite player is just gorgeous in hand.

I started building a A&G auto set that consisted of big name players on various years of A&G. This is one of the 4 cornerstones of the set. The other 3 are Ichiro , which i have and the other 2 i still need to get (Arod, Jeter) This was signed at his batting Clinic in Kansas City in January of 2011. A fellow Member took it with him to the signing.
This is the biggest and nicest Pujols Signature i have ever seen on a card.

I'm gonna have to cheat and put up two non-sports cards because I don't even have 4 sports cards that are considered PC or even worth anything.

My collection's pretty thin.. Would love to show off my Colby Rasmus Big Stick that's autographed, but I don't have a pic..

I've always loved this card.

Great topic. I wouldn't really consider these cornerstones, but rather my current four favorite cards from four different kinds of collecting:

HOF or retired player--------------------------------- / Current player (Topps) -------------------------- / Current player (non-Topps) ----------------------- / Minor league player
