Show your custom design/theme/set ideas for LEAF

I thought it would be a neat idea for the more creative/inspiring or simply interested members here to post up your ideas and/or creations revolving around or involving LEAF. Got an idea for a theme set? Post it up! Created a custom design? Let LEAF see it! Practical or imaginary, no matter, let us show LEAF our creativity!


Here is my first submission...

I know this could never happen for a few different reasons, but this is more of a 'what if' concept. However, it's a concept that I would be all over if it came to fruition. The set/theme design would be called 'LEAF Immortal Moments' and would showcase spectacularly questionable moments in time trapped in sports infamy. Although my first few cards created are of baseball, all sports could be used either in the same set or seperate but specific sets for individual sports and era's. I have yet to design the backs but they would merely consist of a brief yet colorful description of the event(Immortal Moment) taking place on the front of the card.




Anyway, feel free to share your ideas, concepts, or creations here and show LEAF just how creative we can be!

Am I crazy, or did someone say they'd do a buy back set of 1990 Leaf with on-card autos? IF so that would be uber epic.

Create a base set of today's players on that super cool card design (i'm guessing cant be done due to MLB rules), with buyback autos of the FULL set. Or as close as you could come.

1990 Leaf Frank Thomas, Sammy Sosa, Ken Griffey JR, Greg Maddux all with on-card autos............. oh it would be so epic. Was this a real thing? Did I miss it?

I have no mock ups but I'd love an old set size wise like the 86 donruss oversized cards... with a player photo and a shadow box for game used jerseys, gloves, towels, hats, and pads.. Something mid level print run /250ish..

I know over the years many, including myself, have asked for this. And yes, I do believe LEAF is working on something like this.

You are basically describing this years Leaf Memories Baseball releasing in December.. Put sickness or player collectors..Bg

I really wish Leaf would release their own music product. I know ITG just did, but it's quite a bland product.

I am sure there would be a lot of licensing that would go into it, but there would be a lot of possibilities...

-Single Signed
-Band Signed
-Cut Sigs (Single and Band Signed)
-Relics (Shirt, Drumstick, Guitar Pick etc)
-Redemption for Concert Used Items
-Signed Inserts Highlighting Major Concert Moments
-Signed Inserts Highlighting Decades
-Sketch Cards

You could also hold a contest for show tickets or a recording session, or something big like that.

I think it would appeal to card collectors who are also music fans. If done right, it could be huge.

I would also suggest inserting Tom Delonge signatures, because I am having a tough time finding authenticated ones.

I have mentioned this before but I would love to see a horror themed set. I really think it would be a huge hit. Cut autos of Hitchcock, Lugosi... Scream Queens... Sketch cards... There are endless possibilities for autographs. Prop and wardrobe cards. Licensing might get tricky but it could be an amazing set.

Im probably in the minority here, but I dont dig throwback or heritage design cards that much

(A few exceptions do apply)

I think companies who do it are basically saying that they cant come up with anything new so they are reissuing a classic design with current players.

Idk, like I said, im probably in the minority there
