Re: Showff How You Display Your Collection

Sadly - 90% of mine is in boxes.
I scan everything in & have a "virtual" collection.
Kids touch & play with signed balls on display ... LOL.

cmixer luckily I don't have any kids to play with anything.

Bilko thanks and yours look good as well. I want to get one of those glass display cases from Ikea as well but really don't have any room for it right now.

Great thread Dave. I'm kind of a collecting junkie as well, but unfortunately have no idea where to put them. The house i'm in has an unfinished basement and there's no way i'd be allowed to put them in either of the 2 bedrooms :). Someday though! I'll have to get some pics of all my collectibles at some point.

I've got a display frame for my cards, but I'm coming to a point where I really want to display a lot more stuff than will fit into the frame. My main collection is football, but I've got smatterings of hockey stuff that I wish would fit in there somewhere. I think I may end up getting some of those little 'easels' that hold magnetic one touches and put other stuff near the frame.

Wow!! Impressive displays guys, Dave and Bilko! With two young boys here, uh-uh. No go on the displaying stuff right now. I've got a big box I've been slowly filling up with stuff for their PCs, and stuff I want to juts have for when they are old enough to really appreciate them. Someday it'll be like Christmas going through it with them 8-) Then we'll find displays.

Great stuff guys, I wish I could display my stuff but mine are in boxes and binders. I live in a two bedroom apartment and my wife would not be cool with me displaying my stuff. But at least she is cool with me collecting so I don't complain. :)

Yeah, it's hinged and has two snaps on the right side to keep it closed. There's a company in Michigan that makes them called Pennzoni Displays. They make all sorts of frames and cases to show off your sports stuff. I got it from their ebay store though; I believe I paid $30 or $35 shipped. It's not the best quality frame I've ever seen, but it certainly gets the job done.
