Not that cool, his RC is in 2002 Draft.

Exactly. That's an insane price for a card that is two years removed from his RC year.

It may be, but I don't think that anyone who sold off rare 2008 Longoria stuff is complaining.

Yes, but on technicality, the 2008 Longorias are true RCs. That Greinke is nothing but a nice 3rd year 1/1 of a great player.

You're going to start a fight with words like that.

Just b/c Beckett and the MLBPA says so, doesn't make it true.

Believe what you want. I personally stick with the player's first MLB cards that are not considered "inserts", ala 2006 Longorias, as the true RCs. I also buy/sell/trade the 2006 stuff as well... so it's simply a matter of perception.

Well it shouldn't start a fight. Its kinda just one of those things were you make up your own mind. The only people it really sucks for is the uneducated buyers. They are the ones who suffer the most.

I initially hated the changes to the RC by MLB, but now, as a seller, I am beginning to enjoy the fact that I can sell 2-3 years of a player as rookie cards. Do I think it's right... no, but it was MLB's choice to fix what wasn't broken, not mine.
