I think people are going to scoff at his Chris Carter grade but let's all remember that no one in the minor leagues adjusted his approach with more positive effects than Carter.

It's not so much that I'd scoff at Carter's grade but that I think M.Taylor deserves the #1 spot in that he has far superior defensive tool's as well as base-running ability/speed on the basepath's, while at the sametime wielding a superior bat (although Carter is more power driven, Taylor has shown much more patience & ability to hit for average while in addition brandishing plus power)! If Carter entails receiving an A- grade then M.Taylor should get an A!!! :D

What happened with James Simmons? I know his stats took a hit last season, but what exactly happened with him? Is it mechanics? Just a bad season? What is it?

Where are you getting MUCH MORE power and patience?

I can understand years past with BA but Carter drew over 160 BB's the last two seasons and killed Taylor in BA last season for the amount of AB's.

I can live with Cardenas as number 5! The Taylor trade messed up his chances of the top 3. He is still been very consistent and I hope he cracks the club out of Spring training!

will there be a time under Billy Beane when the Oakland Anabolics won't have a stacked minor league system? Slim to none....though it's just an opinion. Waiting on Cardenas here.

I know sleep apnea has been an issue for him in the past. Maybe a recurring problem?

Didn't know that.

He wasn't awful in AAA, but looks like he got hit around pretty good in AFL this year. Obviously Mazzaro and Mortensen reaching the bigs didn't help either.

really looking foward to see Sean Doolittle & Max Stassi

Can't wait to see Doolittle this season as well. Personally, I'm looking forwards to seeing FLDS light up some people this season. I've read that he's putting some serious work into his control issues. If he gets his control down, the A's have another Jonathan Broxton type reliever to line up their already-stacked bullpen.

Like to see Ross at #7.
Wish his prices would reflect that!

was Chicago now Glendale AZ
Coached against Ian Krol in travel ball tourney
He was highly touted but showed up to HS parties too often and got booted off HS team (2nd offense was for being there)
Has an AFLAC card
Thought he was head to AZ for schooling
