Peguero had to repeat the cal league after posting a .794 ops

Normally players that have that stat get a promotion, kinda makes me wonder what is wrong with the guy because I haven't seen him in person or read extended scouting reports.

Agree. However he showed improvement......he had 26 more extra base hits and more than twice the homers in 120 extra plate apperances......his 66 extra base hits can't be ignored even in the hitter-friendly league.

I'm stunned Raben is all the way up at 13 after missing a year+ with injury. A solid year from him this year and he could be a top 5 Mariners prospect by this time next season

I'm pretty surprised that Mike Carp was rated that low. There is even a comp made to Garret Jones - last year Jones hit .293 / 21 HRs / .567 SLG / .938 OPS in 82 ABs. Seems like despite Carp's ceiling being limited (compared to the limitless projection of some prospects anyways), his floor is much higher and he has a much higher probability of reaching his ceiling than others on the list.

I have been watching Carp for a while and I still believe that he will be a solid regular in the Majors, if given the chance.

For full disclosure, I do have a stash of him but I truly believe that I'd have this opinion regardless if I even had a single card of his.

This is classic

Greg Halman, OF, Grade C: Possibly the best set of overall tools in the minors. However, his ability to use these tools is, um. . .extremely limited to put it kindly. Makes Pedro Cerrano look like Ted Williams.

He hurt his wrist late in the '08 season. Took it slow with him this year.
