no they have absolutely zero quality control, even on their most highend product.

What's with the complaints on these? Except for the patches not being centered, the designs aren't all that bad. Are the gold logomen from All-Star jerseys or something?

LOL it's a $350 a box product, off-center patches in two of the biggest hits is not acceptable. There's no reason that there should be off-center or sideways patches/logos in the highest end panini release of the year.

Those are two of the biggest hits? They are probably #/5, and neither player is a huge seller.

I'd take these over those:

This is better than the Paul:

You underestimate the selling power of Ewing, and even the green day Kidd in that dual is off-center. Point is, highend cards in highend products should be made well. Panini has yet to accomplish any sense of quality control.

Isn't Ewing just a big seller on autos? I've bought Ewing cards for my sets where he cost me $40 for a #/25 and the same Barkley goes for over $200.

I doubt the secondary markets will give two squirts because of a crooked logoman.
you're missing my point. in the most high-end product of the year, there should be some quality control as to what gets packed out. especially logos.

Might be Ewing and GP's first logoman, i'd expect them to go for big money. Are those gold ones from the 50th nba Season? Even better.

Yes the Kobe is a huge hit, his cult like following swallows up anything rare.

Gold Logo's were worn during the 1996-97 Season by all players to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the NBA.

Are you saying UD and Topps never have QC issues on their high end releases? If you are, you'd better check some Exquisites I have seen where the auto's are messed up.... Every card company has issues.....I'd be happy as hell if I pulled that Ewing.

Don't see what the big deal is. Obviously the logoman is different for those two and too big for the cut-out window. Looks embroidered rather than a full patch(you can see the jersey color/holes inside). If they were perfectly centered they'd look kinda plain.
