Brandon Laird. He's an RBI machine. 37 XBH in A+ last year with 75 RBI in 124 games. Smashed the AFL with 24 RBI in 22 games. Hit .333 with 6 HR and 9 2B to make the AFL All Prospect team. Going to AA as a 22 year old to start the year. FSL post season all-star too.

Oh, and Zach McAllister. Not a lot of people pay attention to him, but he's an inning-eating machine. Seems like the game blows by when he's on the hill.

I just had this discussion with another member.

I think Brantley could get hot when he gets up.

Also, I think going to SD will get Clayton Richard the numbers that get people to take notice.

Great Movie. One of the few with a mega-cast thats actually good

And i have to agree... but Heat is on the top of my list in the mega-cast category. A classic.

For the OP, Ike Davis is my pick, and he may cause a surprise by being Mets 1B at opening day. But being realistic we will probably see him after the all-star break.

Brantley was on fire last year after his call up. I'm shocked his playing time is even up for debate. The Tribe is going to suck this year so why Laporta, Brantley and a few other prospects don't get significant playing time is beyond me. After his performance last season, the Tribe said their goal was to drop Grady in the order (to hit 3rd) and allow Brantley to lead off.

I took these photos last year...got dug out level seats. I could see into the Tribe dugout and could have reached out to touch the players in the on deck circle.

We all have them, and we all do our research.. who do you think will be a sleeper this year?
I am predicting two.
Andrew Oliver-Tigers, former OSU pitcher. Throws chedder
Jamie Jones- MONSTER OF for the Seattle Mariners. He has a cannon in the field. Per Baseball America, he could have ++ Power.

Blast from the Past:
Brent Brewer-Brewers, this might be his year.

who you got?

Call me crazy, but I think all of the "top prospect" lists/rankings have underestimated what Chris Carter will do this year. When you look at the numbers he has put up, the chrome 2007 have potential to explode in terms of profit margin!

Shhhhh... For the sake of his collectors, lets keep him a sleeper for now.

is he even in product yet?

No :)

He's in '09 BCDP's base set.
