Alright fellas, here it goes.

As I mentioned in a previous thread, my goal was to get all of the Bruins cards from 09-10 UD. So here is the official thread to update my progress...enjoy:

There's a Chara up right now that ends in a few hours. Got my snipe set, so we'll see how it goes.

That's the only one I've seen listed since I started this. Saw a few others beforehand, but only the Chara since.

Also getting a little scared about the Bitz Exclusives...I won another card (Neely Big Playmakers) from the same seller about a week AFTER winning the Bitz. The Neely got here...but have not gotten the Bitz yet...ugh!

Damn it! No dice on the Chara. Closed at $23.32 ($0.50 more than my max). Well, I guess this gives me a good idea of prices on others potentially...

Just won my first of the patches...Manny Fernandez. Scans is a bit fuzzy but appears to be a single Green swatch. I really wish they had used a Bruins jersey for these...

...I will most likely upgrade it if a white one shows up some time. Just not a fan of the Wild green on it.

Sly I am the same way. there are Colby Armstrong game used cards from 2008-09 with him in his Thrashers jersey but with a gold swatch from a Pen's jersey and I refuse to buy one.

Received the Fernandez patch last night. It's a green patch swatch, on top of a green patch swatch. From some part of a logo I'd assume where green overlaps green.

Either way, it works for the time being.

Now if I can find the Neely and Bergeron patches. I've seen two Neely patches, the first one was numbered to #08 (his jersey) and went for $50+. The second was what appeared to be part of the bear swatch, and it was frayed and seemed to be sticking out of the frame a little, so I stayed away...didn't really trust it. I saw one Bergeron right before I started this, but none since.

Got a few more inserts coming in over the next week, along with the Bourque Big Playmakers, so I'll update as those arrive.

And finally have now seen one of the Cam Neely Signature Sensation autos (currently on ebay). I have a bad feeling that it's an SP and not going to be cheap!

Still never seen a Don Cherry or Michael Ryder though...

Finally have seen a Don Cherry auto (currently on ebay). Still no Ryder. Not too pleased as it appears there will be a Bobby Orr auto in Series 2, which I'm sure will run $100+...

Missed out on another High Gloss (Krejci)...ended up going for $35+ ($1 higher than my snipe)...there's another up right now with a minimum bid of $75. I contacted the guy and he plans to relist at $50 if it doesn't sell at $75...even though I offered him $35 for it. The one that sold earlier was also 10/10 which probably got a little bit of a premium. Watching a Kessel right now...I'll get one of these damn High Gloss cards eventually!

UPDATE 2/3/10:

Received the Bourque Big Playmakers today. Also have the Lucic incoming, so that'll give me all three of those.

Got beat out on a Neely auto and a Cherry auto. Both were the first I've seen and the Neely went for $60+, while the Cherry went for $40...much higher than I thought they would. Oh yeah, and still not seen a Ryder auto...

Not much news on the High Gloss front. There's the Krejci I mentioned earlier relisted with a $55 BIN. The offer I submitted (same price as the previous one to close) was countered with $50...probably not going to hit that. Still watching a Kessel which closes in a few days.

That's about it...just waiting on a few things to arrive...gotta love the Canada-to-US mail...very, VERY slow....

Received the Lucic Big Playmakers today, giving me all three...

...and the other big news...

FINALLY won my first High Gloss!!

Won the Kessel today for about $25. Still not sure how Kessel goes for $25, but Krejci goes for $35...oh well, I'll take it!
