Not much to do here today since everything I wanted to do/see was washed out by the rain so decided to head on over to a local show at Hofstra (the smaller one).
I was hoping to dive into some bargain bins but was disappointed that my guy "Chuck" did not show up for the event. Every other dealer was vintage or overpriced stuff...so I decided to buy two boxes of 08 BDP and 5 packs of 08 BC (they were in a bargain pack container that were marked as $1.00 each, so why not).
I checked out the old guy that had wax first but he was unusually over-priced (maybe someone told him his box prices were "cheap". So, I went to old-reliable Seymour for his 08 BDP boxes. Bought two and was VERY satisfied with the breaks!
Box 1 (futures box...EH!):
I guess the Posey made up for it!
Box 2 (blue box!):
The Freddie Aflac was quite a surprise since it came in the first pack I opened from the box!
Oh, I almost forgot about the 5 BC packs that were in my pocket...well, I was shocked to pull an auto!
So far I've bought 6 08 BDP boxes...all from Seymour...and have pulled 3 AFLAC autos (Nieto, Vitters and Freeman). Gotta love that!
