Got some packs from BBCE in our group buy. These are my packs that I kept. I'm not opening all right now, but here are a few!

I'll start with 3 1987 Donruss. Wish me luck!

Just these two so far. Rest were crap. Also, some of the cards were absolutely hammered. Fortunately, they are worth no less in hammered condition than they are in gem mint condition.

8 1989 UD packs - FYI while I have idea exactly what the order is, these packs are definitely somehow sequences because I got a lot of runs across the 8 packs. I would not buy these packs loose from anywhere. Full box only and if we get more, I will be shuffling the packs prior to giving them out.

1995 Bowmans Best - Grieve was once a $15 card. Now 15 cents. I think the Griffey was about the best card.

This was fun even though I got absolutely destroyed! Left the better stuff in there for everyone else!

Bill - What's the story with the '89 UD? The packs are easy to tell which has the big cards? Just curious

I don't know for sure, but I just pulled out my 8 packs, pretty much all from the same row in the box, and all the cards were sequenced, like if I got card 17 in 1 pack, card 18 was in the next, 19 in the next, 20 in the next, etc., so I would conclude that if you counted the packs properly, you could easily get yourself a Griffey, or at least within a few picks. You don't have to worry about that with sealed boxes.

Problem is...those boxes weren't factory sealed. None of them were. If you find one that's shrink wrapped, it was done by someone other than UD. Tough to tell if they've been picked over or not.

Really? Now that's interesting.
