So here is the rest of the story.
First off I arrived there on Thursday and Stayed until Sunday closing time.
I meet up with my date and roomie
for the weekend Eric(thosebackpages) at the FCB booth And he right away showed me the cards he picked up from the show, and this was a site to see for sure.
I then was introduced to some of the Mod's and Boardies. I have a great time with this group for the 4 days. I made only 1 purchase and it was a box Of 2008 Upper Deck Heroes. But I was there to give away stuff to board members and even total strangers.
Chris and the misses, Chris's buddy Robert ,Joe(Jcmint) Philip (MasonPhilip) Ken Moxcaine) Wes (Wes) Matt (Ballerskrip), Joe (Muskiefan)Charlie (ChasHawk)Brian (Blanning), Gellman Forgot his name, Ralph (hoopster 3977), Anthony (aminors) and all the hype (again forgot his name), Randy Shields, Anthony(ASMSporsts?) Tim (Phillyfan?) sorry Tim just to much to remember, Sean(Goldenegg1) Eric (Woundeduck), Sooz and Maria (Yanxchick) Lisa( lisu) and many, many others.
Let me first start out by saying, I used to feel tall until, I was standing next to Aminors, all the hype, and Philip, and a few other members who stopped by,they were all like 6 inches taller then me and I'm 6ft 3 inches. The when I stood near the Huckleberry (Brian) and Gilmo, Tim, and Joe(Jcmint) Joe Muskiesfan) and a couple more boardies, I was not feeling so bad about the weight issue then.
On Thursday I went to the Topps meet and great an it sucked ass since they just basically just talked in circles and even made my head hurt for the 1 plus I was there.
On Thursday night I was on of these 50 plus that was at the meet and great, and I would say that was a great time for sure.
I show the swag from the FCB meet and great later in the photos.
Friday I got to go to the PSA luncheon as a guest of Eric's (thosebackpages) and sat up front at a table the ended up being with Don Spence (Jim Spences' son) and Levy from 707 sporstcards and one of the founders of the PSA and even someone who wrote for a publication on sports cards. This was totally a cool time right there. Oh and the spread was really A+
Friday night went out to Harry Caray's in Rosemont, I think that group ended up be like 15-16 man that was fun as well.
Saturday I ran around the show dumpster dived but came up with nothing, went back to the booth and just hung out with everyone
and jumped on the chat, and bored the hell out of most of you.
Saturday night I, Eric (thosebackpages) and Eric (woundeduck) went out for Pizza at Giordano's and it was really cool to sit and chat with those to over a good Pizza.
Sunday I had to wait out the rain storm that blow thru the area since I parked everyday about 3/4 mile away so I got in there around 11ish. I just went around again and took pictures and then came back to the booth to hang again with the gang. I then broke a box of 2008 Upper Deck Heroes Baseball live on the chat and you can see the hits on the pictures below.
Then right around the closing time of the show on Sunday I said my goodbyes and got some hugs ( opps what happens at the National was to stay at the National.
Sorry sometime things just slip.
I then drove my Date and roomie  Eric(thosebackpages) to the airport, and it was like watching one of your family members( he truly is by the way) leave knowing you would have to wait a long time to see him again. But I know where he lives and were he hangs out (ON HERE) with the rest of the FCB Family.
Thanks Everyone for show me how the FCB gang rolls when they get together and shares there love for the hobby.
