This is just and idea for some to think about in the future.

A shares Break similar to the one Justinmaddawg is thinking of doing with oval office sigs.

(EX..)Here is how it would work 25 shares at $125 a share you could get 4 cases of say draft with (toploaders and sleeves) the breaker would be able to do a live break via ustream.

Here is the catch! Everything is up for auction!

The deal would work like this Everything Auto's, base, Ref's, Lots you name it and it would be up for auction. It would be simple one of the break INVESTORS would list the items on ebay either by .01 and let it run or by BIN's for the higher end cards. Once everything has been auctioned off and the seller has recouped the fees from the auction the profits from the sales would be divided evenly amongst the INVESTORS this way everyone would have a shot at geting moneyback or making money.

This is just an Idea and Looking for opinions

7 cards per pack times 24 packs per box times 48 boxes in 4 case equals 8,064 cards

good luck finding someone who is willing to deal with over 8000 cards

That is why you sell in lots by player. Many people break 6-8 cases of draft themselves its not like they have never touched that many cards at a time. If it is not something that you are interested in that is fine but keep in mind by the time you sell the big names in lots and you sell the rest in team lots. all the hits get sold separately.

Draft would be WAY too much effort.....

Why not just buy yourself a couple boxes and move on...

Just my opinion

I would think prospectors would be very interested in something like this and is four cases really that much of a pain?

Oh well just an idea I saw on other boards and with the Oval office break that is coming up I thought people might be interested.

I would be interested in this, and maybe hosting it but I am in college so i dont think i could get it done fast enough. You could also have 4 different people each break a case and then just sell that that, maybe making sets of chrome, draft, and gold and then sending all the extras to one person and have them finish sorting and selling

I don't do box breaks. However, I think that for this to occur the host would have to be someone very patient who doesn't mind dealing with the hassle of listing and shipping numerous cards in a relatively short period....

I felt the same way and already proposed this idea...with two different products. There was very little interest. I thought it was a great idea too :)

I think this is a really interesting idea, except the problem with a product like draft is that it is a product that you generally make more money by waiting a year or two to sell. Maybe something like Prime Cuts IV would be more suitable, as it is more of a short-term gamble. You could get some huge hits and make some serious money quick after selling and dividing the money equally amongst the investors.

One way around this could be to allow each person participating to select a card or two to keep. Basically let each person take say $50 worth of cards and then sell the rest. That way each person gets something they want as well as recoup part of the funds right off the bat.

Or even just divide all of the cards.
