As for FIVE star I think it's an excellent idea for a product but think they missed the ball on the quality. The chipping is uncalled for but I'm still a buyer of specific singles... Including Albert Belle obviously.

The good news is I think TOPPS will take notes and feedback and FIVE star next year will be freaking awesome or at least I hope so.

I love this Johan/Wright dual patch card for under $100. The product actually looks high end and classy if I may say so. Chipping and creases would be uncalled for however. Thanks

The Five Star Eight Signature card is intriguing but it's a redemption and Topps has been no better than UD in turning around redemptions. I'm a long time Junior collector and was excited when Topps announced they'd signed him! My enthusiasm dulled quickly as Topps proved to be worse than UD in cranking out varieties (regulars and autos) for each release. Initially, the auto redemptions came quickly but soon ground to an absolute halt! I currently have over 25 Griffey auto redemptions outstanding and many are overdue according to notifications. Bottom line - great start Topps until you fell flat on your face - another victim of the dreaded redemption programs. Cards/designs/on card autos are great but you cannot deliver. Shame on you!!!

I got destroyed on my 1 box of this product, but overall I like the look of the set minus the condition of the cards coming out of the boxes.

I grew up just north of Starkville, MS, so this Will Clark Five Star Auto would look great in my collection.

As far as the product goes, I absolutely love it.............with the exception of those chipped edges.

Nice on-card AU of King Kong for a reasonable price. He doesn't have many pack-issued autos and is a really underrated player historically.

As far as improving the product: no more plain GU swatches... better QC... and provenance of high-end GU items.

I like the look of the card but I really can't stand it when the entire swatch is plain. Add some color/patch to the card and make it special.

Great card for a decent price...if you're a George Bell fan. With the above Dave Kingman, we have two players who shouldn't be in a ultra high-end product. At least they look really nice.
