So I guess this Lesnar deal is pretty bad. May never fight.

Sounds like a bad deal.

I wonder what is wrong with him?

http://www.411mania.com/MMA/news/122012

- According to Dave Meltzer, Brock Lesnar's health status is way more serious than had been previously reported. Lesnar went to Canada last week for rest, as he is recovering from Mono, and while there collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. There is a major health issue that he is not letting out, but to kill rumors that may pop up, he does NOT have cancer HIV/AIDS. It is said that Lesnar will not fight for a very long time, if ever again. Dana White will head to Minnesota to meet with Lesnar, and will also try to get him into the Mayo Clinic, or some other top notch medical facility.

- Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira is out of UFC 108 as he currently has a severe staph infection. He will need IV treatment to get rid of it, and is said to be in bad shape.

- Shane Carwin will be undergoing knee surgery, and will not be available to face Velasquez at UFC 108.

- Shane McMahon recently had a meeting at the UFC offices. Dana White would not comment on the meeting.

I'm going to go with Addison's Disease, secondary. A shot in the dark but I think it's either that or some sort of autoimmune response to what I would guess were years of steroid use.

Note: I think he is clean now. This would be from prior use.

First thing I thought of was something due to steroid abuse. I really don't think he's on the juice anymore, but was without question taking stuff during his WWE days. Its all speculation, but as much as I can't stand the guy, sickness and injury is something that no one wants to see.

Hope him and Nog are back in action soon! (Ideally, him against Nog!!)

Yeah, no doubt he was a juicer back in the day. First thing I thought was this was a bi-product of the abuse.

Man, this really really sucks donkeys. I hope it turns out it's virtually nothing. Because if I can't watch him fight anymore, I will be very very say.

I just saw on ESPN that Lesnar is hospitalized with mononucleosis

Plus something else that is not being released. Sounds like he'll be out for a while.

You guys really think it could be steroid related? He was only in the WWE for what 5 years? He didn't juice in college and he's not juicing now so you think only a few years of juicing could really do this all these years later?

Yeah, it's mono and something else. You don't go to the Mayo Clinic just because you have mono.

I guess Lesnar just got the **** end of the steroid stick then? Many wrestlers have juiced for much longer times and seem fine. Signed Hulk Hogan,. Ultimate Warrior and 99% of the WWE roster from the 1980s.

A lot of people use a lot of things and don't have the same results at different times in their lives. It is what it is. Each person's body reacts differently. Motley Crue used to shoot whiskey into their veins sharing needles and w/ the exception of one they are still doing alright for guys that did all the crap they did. I hear people that say their grandpa ate 2 lbs of bacon a day while smoking nonfilters and working in an asbestos plant and he lived to 100 but they have a brother that died from an allergy to pickles.

It's not good for the heart, liver, lungs, kidneys, blood, brain, well you get the picture. It's roulette and he was lucky enough to get his spot picked.

Maybe Parkinson's Disease?

He did take alot of hits to the head and body during not only UFC, but WWE and Collegiate wrestling

Would explain a collapse and health problem

Parkinson's wouldn't come one all of the sudden. He would have a gradual decline in his hand eye coordination and slowly start slurring his speech like Ali did.

Latest word is that it is an intestinal disease which requires major surgery

[mmascoops.com]

Dana White is trying to get Brock Lesnar into the world famous May Clinic and tells TMZ that Lesnar has some sort of intestinal disorder that will require "major surgery."

White described Lesnar as "very, very sick" and that he had collapsed in Canada a week ago after going there to rest up after being diagnosed with mono.

White also added the following: "There's a possibility Lesnar will never fight again."

Looks like he has a bacterial infection in his intestines that will require surgery. Sherdog has a bunch of posts about it.

I read a bunch of threads on various forums about this today. I love how all of these keyboard warriors either have had this same thing or know someone who has and knows exactly how long it "should" take Brock to get back. They need to just STFU and I'm sure the Brock Lesnar saga will play itself out.

Well I hope he is able to fight again. I was really looking forward to his fight against Carwin, but hopefully he comes back just as good as he was and retains his title, assuming they create an interim champion while he is gone.
