I know some of you guys have gone to AS Games, so I thought I'd ask here.

I plan on going at The K and was curious how much I can expect to spend on tickets. I'd like to go to as many events as possible.

Thanks for any help.

It all depends on what you want to do in 2012. Do you want to go to the celebrity softball game and the futures game as well? Home Run Derby as well as the all star game? If that's the case, you're better off buying a strip with all the tickets to every event, including the fanfest.

That's how the tickets are sold. Season ticket holders have priority and can purchase their same seats or have the option of buying the same seats if they are season ticket holders.

MLB also has a lottery to give fans that aren't season ticket holders a chance to purchase all star tickets. The odds are long but you never know what can happen.

I'm an angels season ticket holder so I'm going to the games this year unless I get a good offer on my seats.

We're going back a while, but when Philly had the All Star Game in 96, I became a Sunday season ticket holder JUST so I could get All Star Game priority. It worked. You may want to get cheap season tickets and try to sell some online, even though this is the Royals. It may offset the scalping fee you'd have to pay to buy straight AS game tix.

Last year in St Louis the Sunday event tickets could be had pretty easy. I paid $10 for Futures Game ticket. Home Run Derby was more like $500 closer to time of the even, can't remember before it. The actual game tickets were close to Home Run Derby depending on where you were at.
