today i just won this freaking awesome Hitmen team signed jersey!!!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

My local Supermarket (Safeway), in conjunction with the Hitmen and Alberta Easter Seals (a charity that helps people with physical disabilities achieve their full potential and future independence) have been selling raffle tickets for the last month or so and every time i went shopping there i would buy a few and today was the draw and now im the very proud owner of this.....

Helps take away a bit of the sting from last nights disappointing loss

Thanks guys for all the comments (I "Thanked" everyone who posted in here as well), you wouldn't believe how bad i wanted to win this thing the first time i laid eyes on it. It was on display at the front of the store and when me and my GF would go grocery shopping there, i would take off from her several times per trip to just go and stare at the jersey :lol:

It still seems a little surreal that it is hanging in my house now. I am gonna either get a nice jersey cabinet for it or get it framed, just not sure which route to go yet. But it will definitely be on display in my living room wall very soon.

Even though Calgary Didn't win the Memorial Cup they did still win the WHL championship (which is the junior league out here in Western Canada and in Washington state and Oregon ) and had several award winners on the team, so the jersey will still have a special significance in the years to come.

Thanks Dave. Yeah i was absolutely shocked when they called me to tell me i won. Ive had it hanging in my living room ever since, looking at it when im watching the games or have company over. Everyone who stops by my house compliments the jersey. Just gotta get a case or nice framing job for it one day soon.
