I sell a lot of hockey cards, but more and more it seems that Canadians are only interested in getting something for nothing. If I ship to Canada without delivery confirmation, they claim they didn't receive their cards and I am out the money. Last time I checked, the only form of mail available to Canada with delivery confirmation or any sort was $16, and PayPal didn't accept that as valid delivery confirmation.

Any other American sellers have any advice on how to deal with these Canadian snakes? Am I going to have to refuse to ship to Canada and end up selling my cards for less?

I don't know what it is, but I have always received cards that I have purchased through US sellers. I have also sold to numerous Canadian and US sellers and have never had a problem (knock on wood). How many times has this happened to you? I can tell you that if I see a card with $16 shipping on it, I tend to stay away unless it is a high value card.

Good luck, sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble.

Six or seven times. The best is when they list the card for sale immediately after their chargeback is complete. Next time, I should win the card and do to them what they did to me.

I'd probably just not ship to Canada rather than charge $16.
