So what was the huge dig at MJ in the LBJ commercial?

I watched it, but didn't really notice anything anti-Jordan, but everyone on ESPN is all up in arms saying he slammed Jordan.

I got the Barkley dig, but not the MJ.

Was it the Hall of Fame deal?

"Then, the shot at Jordan: "What should I do? Should I just sell shoes? Wanna see my shiny new shoes?"

While not obvious, it looks like this is at least a subtle jab at Jordan, who was a businessman above all else, typified by his famous quote on why he wouldn't speak out on political issues: "Republicans buy sneakers, too."

If you look close, LeBron is even wearing those 80s sunglasses Jordan used to wear, famously in his "Saturday Night Live" appearance and in some of the Mars Blackman Nike ads, back in the day."

Can't find the video since Nike took it down, but this is from an article about it.

Sounds like a very good commercial that most are going to bitch and moan about.

To answer LeBron's question - yes, I wish he would disappear.

THIS.

and he won't ever sell as many shoes as Jordan....and he definitely won't win as many Championships.

After losing the first game, the Heat have looked pretty damn good. Oh, and they'll only get better each year by adding a solid vet with the MLE.

I don't think it's definite he won't get as many rings as MJ.
