Since Jameson started to get noticed in the Hobby scene, I dont think I ever heard his name pronounced correctly (the double L's silent).

Between all my customers and everyone at all the white plains shows, no one ever said it correctly. How many ere knew how to say it before the draft?

I wasn't sure how to say it whether it was with the silent 'l' or like an eagle Talon. I got lucky pronouncing it the Spanish way.

He pitched for a rival school, so my student-baseball players talked about him a bit. Otherwise, I would not have known.

Are the L's silent or do they make the sound a "y" would? Phonetically would you spell his last name as "Tayon"?

WOW ... You're still having trouble getting the Cox out of your mouth :?

It's called a joke. Is that term unfamiliar to you?

I think his reply was in jest as well. A little off color, but I laughed pretty hard.

Nah, I'm pretty sure humor is ****** territory for him

Cox probably isn't, but humor definitely is

You need to just chalk this one up in the loss column. You tried to make a joke and the guy absolutely owned you. Time for you to move on to the next thread.

Except for the fact it had nothing to do with his last name and everything to do with the fact it's the shortest two-syllable name in the draft, and the easiest to pronounce
