So Who Plays In The 2010 National Championship Game?

I have been hooked on NCAA 2010 and I just found the pic in my sig today. Personally I think it will be Oklahoma and Flordia again... However, I wouldn't be suprised if Alabama snuck into the equation along with USC.

With a real QB, LSU is very dangerous. OU and FU are loaded, but don't dismiss USC just 'cuz of the QB situation.

And a super sleeper... Illinois. Great college QB, good RBs, great WR, and their defense is supposedly much better. They have only one "big" road game, at Columbus, with Cinncy being the next toughest. That and the easier Big 10 schedule could land them a BCS bowl game, maybe even the big one. Maybe worth putting a few shekels on in Vegas. They're about 50-1 to win.

If the last 3 years have not proven that a playoff system is needed then College football is a a joke! the system is set for only schools in the big 6 conferences has even a chance at a championship and the BIG Money. Utah IMO was royally screwed last year for not even getting some kind of chance at the national title. You guys all talk about its on the field is were you win and lose, well let teams like last years Utah win or lose on the filed not some stupid formula that no one can understand.

Why is it that every other NCAA sport has a playoff EXCEPT for football??? Because it's all about the money.

Are you serious? Great college qb? Juice williams has 37 ints throwing in 3 years that is horrible even with Benn who is a great wr Juice is very inconstant, and i think you forgot about Penn State in there schedule an Missouri even if they lost Chase Daniels an Jeremy Maclin there still going to put up a fight vs Illinois theres a chance Illinois will go 1-3 for there 1st 4 games. They may make a blow but my projection of bowl for illinois is the almo bowl or outback bowl if lucky.

I do hate the BCS, but I have Florida-Texas. USC has all the talent, but no experience at the most important position (QB). Oklahoma is stacked but also lost a lot, and I think Alabama just isn't quite there yet. I do like LSU a lot though and think they could make some major noise.

The sad thing is that isn't even true......because Div II + III and whatever their calling IAA now-a-days have playoffs. Funny thing that the extra games haven't proved detrimental to the schooling of those kids that really are student-athletes. So really whatever excuse they give for not having a playoff is a joke.

Having not gone to a college with 1A football I really have no allegience, so the lack of a playoff really effects the way i view the sport. That being said i don't want to go completly off track from the purpose of the thread......so I'll say USC vs. Florida. Obviously if one of the BIg 12 teams runs the table they should be in it, but it will be tough.

If Utah, TCU, Boise St., or any other non-BCS school wants national respect then they need to play a big school OOC schedule. Utah played Michigan, Oregon State, Utah State, and Weber State. These non-BCS schools need to play 4 BCS teams to get into the discussion. Granted Utah did go 3-0 vs. the BCS and they are in the same conference as TCU and BYU, but the rest of their conference is a flat out joke. If you want to be in the discussion with the big boys you have to play the big boys and beat them. Michigan was flat pathetic last year trying to install a new system and Toledo even freaking beat them.

Same here. I remember 2 seasons ago people thought Hawaii got screwed even though the best team they played was Washington. Georgia proceeded to kick their ass and make Colt Brennan look like the crappy QB he really was. Their system is just as much of a "gimmick" as Texas Tech's or Georgia Tech's triple option.

If Utah last year played Texas, OU, Florida or USC they would've been killed, Bama had one of the easiest SEC schedules in recent memory...
