he must have won a lottery, hard to believe he is a college educated person making these spending decisions.

I am amazed at what cardboard sells for of players who I have literally never heard of before.

Think of how much a 1/1 Rookie auto of Pujols would sell for...Im not saying Stanton is Pujols (although he did hit 39 HRs last year) and you can get a reasonable idea of why people pay so much for these.

Well if he becomes a hof(not saying he will be) then that 1,400 could be worth 6,000 but then again if he does nothing it could be worth 100

If he does pan out Pujols-esque, what kind of affect do you think the card having a sticker auto will have?

Majority of all Pujols rookie autos were on card weren't they? I can't recall any stickers.

Or will the card being a 1/1 trump the sticker issue?

I am just too poor I guess to understand prospecting.

But if someone has the money, more power to them.

I would just be affraid he'd end up like Wes Swackhamer.

The superfractor of his will be worth much more if he puts up hof numbers. The sticker auto shouldn't affect it much as it is a 1/1

I agree that the chrome super would be worth more, but if he put up HOF type numbers, this card could easily be worth $4000-$5000. Im definitely not saying he will, but if he does, that would be my estimate.

That was a GREAT sell there as I didn't think this would crack $800, much less the $1,000+ mark! :D Now do your civic duty & reinvest that money back into the market (the cardboard market of course)! ;)
