Well I went against my gut feeling, and ended up selling to a guy in Taiwan. I wasn't sure if I would be charged w/ a negative if I didn't ship to him, so I just sent the card to him. It has been 2 1/2 weeks since I sent the card, and still no feedback. I am already expecting to give this guy a refund, because there is really no point in complaining to Ebay by showing them the customs forms and what not. I know I'm a moron, no need to tell me. I'm just wondering if I should sent this guy a message saying to file the claim, so we can get it over with, or just wait it out until he does in a few more weeks?

Thanks, Eric

Yea I guess then there would be 0 chance of getting something positive out of it. Still expecting to give him a refund though.

But he has not even sent you an email? Deep breathe, it was headed overseas. I have bought and sold a bunch to Japan etc with zero troubles.

If you want to send free cards to Taiwan so be it, but do it off ebay so you don't have to pay the fees!

My sharpie pen won't even write the word Taiwan on a bubble mailer.

No, that would be for sending to Canada. Shipping overseas you should wait at least 14 days before even starting to count the days.

I bought a card from a seller in Taiwan last month. He sent it the day after and it took almost 3 weeks to arrive, so I wouldn't panic yet. I did have several great sales to Taiwan before 2 bad ones that soured me on shipping there so not everyone there is dishonorable.

no feedback doesn't mean anything. So many things I've sold never resulted in fb received, none of those have been problems. I would only worry if you got an email from them or received negative feedback

Well I just got the message saying it's been 25 days and he hasn't received the card yet. :o Big shocker there. Is there anything I can do, or just give up, and give him the refund?

Can anybody help, really not sure what I can do.

Don't sell or ship to Taiwan. Have you not read enough of these type of posts over the years to know how this story ends?

Next time you have the urge to sell to someone in Taiwan give me a call. I'll come over to your house and kick you in the nuts and you will still be better off in the long run....even with a bruised twig and berries.

Card ended for $45

I state in my listings that international buyers need to contact me before bidding and must pay extra for tracked shipping. It's worth it to make the buyer pay an extra $10 or so to track the package.
