Anything of Eric Plunk.

Or anything of Don Mossi for that matter.

One of the funniest things I've ever read was on the CU boards many years ago, someone joked that they taped Don Mossi cards to the back window of their house to chase away the raccoons from the yard.

Now that is funny. I was pretty horrified to be watching a dvd video of my wife's old family photos- and all the guys from her Mom's side of the family were sporting Don Mossi ears- or worse. At the first group shot I was laughing because I thought they were taped on! Unfortunately not... needles to say I've been looking at my son's ears to make sure they don't start sprouting.

More than any other Venezuelan, more than Manny, and up until this past summer more than Jeter...

There's a sweet Lance Berkman minor league card of him in a sumo fat suit. I can't find the pick right now, but I'll try to get it posted.

That's the whole point though... he has all those hits, but looking at the picture it appears as if this is the first time he's held a bat, and the only time he's seen somebody swing one was on TV. He looks all awkward, like he's about to give it a shot for the first time.
