Some Giants Offseason Thoughts

I'm weary of trying to bring any big-money free agent in since I feel you will be overpaying for last year's production since the free agent will likely have diminished numbers this year due to the ballpark. I'd more like to see high average, good contact, good speed guys rather than homerun hitters.

Our avg i thought was .283 or something like that. We can get on base, but we cannot get the clutch hits or fricken get sac fly RBIs

Maybe trade sanchez and a prospect or like nick noonan, fred lewis and another prospect (henry sosa)?

Our team average was .257, 25th out of 30 MLB teams. Our OBP was dead last (not helped by having guys who are allergic to walks like Molina). Our slugging ranked 28th out of 30 teams. Basically, any kind of good player will help, but especially guys who can get on base (whether it be walks or hits).

ya sorry i thought it was like 283 at the all star break, then everything went south from there. Lincecum and Cain's wins, our offense, and our wild card spot

I guess Nick Johnson is your guy who can also fill the whole at 1B

Unless they can sign bay or holliday and somehow get uggla and or nick johnson without departing with cain!
