I would assume it is a the centering, both top/bottom and left/right. It appears to be slightly diamond cut. But I would guess it has some kind of gum residue on the back from being a stamp probably taken out of a book of some type.

The centering wouldn't lower it to a one, but you are probably right about the back. In the 60's and 70's, most Venezuelan collectors pasted their cards into albums that were sold along with the cards/stamps. There are a lot of Venezuelan cards with damaged backs that kill their grades.

The back of the card has some damage from where it had been in an album.

2 thumbs up on the Venezuelan stamp. Condition on these cards are generally overlooked on these cards because of what they are. The Ryan would sell for about $900 in the same condition.
