Played a game at Kauffman last friday. Great game as it went into extra innings. We ended up winning 3-2 in the bottom of the ninth. (Our rightfielder hit a walk off *single with the bases loaded 2 outs 3 and 2 count) We were told that the 9th was the last inning no matter what so it was a great finish. * officially scored a single but he hit a bomb to left field, hit off of the left field wall, so close to a walk off grand slam
I didn't pitch
But did get to throw off the Bullpen mound for my in between starts pen session. (mounds are amazing!) So was the grass on the field, literally like carpet.
