Somebody tell me this button card is fake!

That has to be fake right? I have a button (#/6?) from the set, and the jersey #/99... I'll have to scan them up later. This is fascinating though... I think the seller popped the little piece of jersey out, sewed the button on, and popped the jersey back in. Opinions?

I'm kind of thinking about it. I'm going to offer him $1. It was funny, when I saw it I was distressed to see the button card #/99.

So I had 18/22 of them, and I think they dropped 6 new ones on me. Maybe it's only 5 though, I'm struggling to remember. I only have one of the new ones though, so my % is way down.


You know what else I noticed.... all of my buttons have 4 holes for stitches, where this silly button has 2 holes...

I don't know the specifics of Kobe's contract with Upper Deck, but I know from a couple of other brand-exclusive guys, that they weren't allowed to sign other brands, even when a kid would come up and ask them to sign a card. If that's the case, Kobe made a mistke or this guy is full of crap. I'm voting the latter, given the button /99, lol.
