Someone explain to me about blank back proofs

I separate the blank back Topps Vault stuff from my regular 1/1's.

They're 1/1's but not "true 1/1's" in my opinion.

The only difference between a blank back 1/1 and a pack inserted 1/1 is the manufacturer is selling it directly to you. But, since you have to buy it on eBay, chances are it's not any different than any other 1/1 you can/do buy.
