Thats when you sell a ton of cards and then buy some/one of those (if priced reasonable) and then get them shipped to sell on ebay

the T206, R333, and R319 Ruth cards are authentic, dont know about the 1940 PlayBalls though...

all of them are very common for the Era especially the R319 and T206 cards, they are the MOST COMMON of all PreWar cards....

still nice group of collector grade HOFers, but anyone can obtain these with some $$$

Im fairly sure the R335 DiMaggio and Williams are reprints. The colors are way off, image background (on JoeD) should be very close to the border in color (while on this card its noticeably darker), and the mask in the corner doesnt have the detail of the authentic R335 cards, unless someone went and colored it in on both cards (unlikely).

the others are authentic, or very good images of worn authentic cards, they are not reprints and show the normal wear found on these... T206 you would look at the wear on edges/creases and the caption font (color and spacing, and ie "Detroit" the D and T are slightly larger than the other letters), plus the overall color (fakes will be washed out).
The R333 cards, the reprints have a border that is too wide and the image is cropped, and the color is usually too bright, especially the white border. look at the stadium design where it meets the LR border it should not be straight on authentic cards.
The R319 Ruth, look at the top of hat and the elbow area (look for cropping), plus look at the detail of the trademark in corner, plus the red strip at bottom where it meets the edge (shouldnt be flush with the background color where they meet the border)

funny how he has 2 fakes mixed in w/ good cards... there was a young collector (here?) and on Net54 a couple years ago, that had a few fakes mixed in w/ authentic cards. After he showed them off I told him which ones were bad, dont know if these are his, he collected lower grade stuff like these.

BTW best card of the bunch is the R333 Gehrig

Now Im thinking the "good" cards may be whats called "homemade fakes" made from internet images of real cards, printed out on a inkjet printer front and back glued together. If so, they are the toughest of all fakes to see from a low quality small scan on the internet, but in person would be very easy to spot as a fake.

I say this because a quick google search easily found the exact same R333 Gehrig

ask him for a scan of the back of the R333 Delong Gehrig, Im sure he will have trouble :)

That's the back of the DeLong Gehrig on COMC. Maybe this COMC dealer is the same person who runs that blog? They are a dealer specializing in vintage, just like this particular COMC dealer.

I think COMC has all cards on hand before they list/sell them. Unlike Ebay, where each person sells their own cards, with COMC you have to send your cards to them first, then they will list them for you.
