It actually went higher than I thought it would based on the current market---I really wanted to go after it, but I just cant justify it when you can get a nice Kaline Bat AUTO for around $20..

What I think is it would of sold for more if it wasn't for the god awful sicker autograph.
Kaline has a strong collector base and his higher end stuff sells really well. He's the one of if not the most popular Tiger player.

How hard would it of been to put his whole name on the barrel centered in the window. Not very. Now that would of been drool worthy.

Gives me a deent idea of where a Yount would go. Maybe a scosch lower.

They didn't you can see a little bit of the L on the left hand side of the window

Ya it sold right where I thought it would from my spreadsheet what is more crazy is the berra bat barrel selling for $600 now thats nuts!

I would say he probably is the most popular Tiger player. In the last 50 years he's one of only two long term Tiger's players to make the HOF (Jim Bunning). The only other guys are Sparky Anderson, Larry Doby and Eddie Matthews.

At the very least he's definitely the most popular retired Tiger.
