Someone Picked Up A NICE Piece of Baseball History For $460-

This is one card that qualifies as drool-worthy.
Based on pricing of other Barrel Auto's was this a good deal, and also a litmus as to where the card market is right now.

It actually went higher than I thought it would based on the current market---I really wanted to go after it, but I just cant justify it when you can get a nice Kaline Bat AUTO for around $20..

What I think is it would of sold for more if it wasn't for the god awful sicker autograph.
Kaline has a strong collector base and his higher end stuff sells really well. He's the one of if not the most popular Tiger player.

How hard would it of been to put his whole name on the barrel centered in the window. Not very. Now that would of been drool worthy.

I would say he probably is the most popular Tiger player. In the last 50 years he's one of only two long term Tiger's players to make the HOF (Jim Bunning). The only other guys are Sparky Anderson, Larry Doby and Eddie Matthews.

At the very least he's definitely the most popular retired Tiger.
