Someone who collects coins please help!!!

My uncle collects US coins as his hobby and I would like to purchase a nice coin for about $100 but I have no clue what I am looking at. Can someone please provide me some links or ideas from ebay to make this easier? Thank you I appreciate it.

First, I’m not much of a coin collector.

But, you can pick up a proof and uncirculated set of those curved Hall of Fame baseball coins for around $100.

older pawn shops were only places in my town but cheaper coins . silver dollars on ebay get pushed up in value . look for estate auctions
