Ok, so a few people here believe that Lincecum would be shelled and wouldn't dominate if he pitched in the AL, specifically the AL east.

Well he has pitched against the big 3 (National Team best teams/offensive teams)

Against the dodgers: (Kempt, eithier, loney, etc)
6IP 0R 4H 2BB 7K

Against the cardinals: (Pujols, Holliday, Rasmus, Ludwick, Molina)
7IP 1R 6H 3BB 7K (command issues and didn't have curveball)

Against the phillies: (Howard, Utley, Weryth, Victorino, Polanco...)
8.1IP 2R 3H 1BB 11K (we all know what happened in this game)

The phillies and cardinals match up with some of the best offenses in baseball, so don't tell me that Lincecum can't post similar numbers in the AL East.
Maybe I'm still pissed off at Bochy's decision and Wilson's off day...

You and me both (different situations). frack you, Greg Smith (Frankline Morales, too).
Lincecum should've had a complete game victory, not a 11K no decision.

he would still be a great pitcher, but not absolutely dominant like he is right now. replacing the 9th hole pitcher with a hitter makes a difference (of course this year DHs are not nearly as good as the roid era, so maybe he would do fine)

What does this have to do with him pitching in the AL? If people are saying he'll get shelled in the AL, then they are saying if he pitched against NON-NL teams he'll get shelled.

So posting stats against NL teams to prove he can pitch against AL teams is....moot.

Can I borrow your crystal ball? Because for some reason you know what would have happened had Lincy been left in the game, other than what you just hoped and assumed would have happened.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for your favorite player, but this is the third thread where you offered your opinion as fact that had Lincy been left in the game, it would have been over.

Maybe so, maybe not.

You just don't know that. Crazy things can and do happen in baseball, look at the Pirates game from last night (too cover the over, btw :) )
