Sorry to be a homer, but gotta give some love to Dan Haren

I know we have enough of these posts, but I feel Dan Haren is underrated enough that he needs a shout out.
Pitched a CG 2 hitter tonight (1 hit was a HR, unfortunately).

Now at 5-4, 2.20 ERA (#1), 90 K (#5), 0.81 WHIP (#1), 94 IP (#1), as well as #1 in K/BB, #2 in BAA, #1 or #2 (unsure what Pineiro did tonight) in BB/9, Top Ten in K/9. Could also easily be 12-1 right around now. Should at least have 9 wins.

Way too early to say anything, but I'm starting an early campaign for Haren for NL Cy Young! It was great to see him in person again tonight and watch him dominate batters.

Lincecum of course
Matt Cain (sleeper or not, he is performing like an ACE)
Johan
Billingsley
Dan Haren
Yovani (Sleeper)

The NL is stacked in pitching, this is going to be an interesting race this year.

After Lincecum's complete game shut out tonight he's the front runner. However, seeing hoe Haren is on my fantasy team this year I'm painfully aware of his complete lack of help this year.

Actually i don't think there is a clear front runner at all. The six i mentioned are all close.

Lincecum has had 3 games (leads) blown from him, so he easily could have 7-9 wins now

You know what, record is just meaningless. Haren's stats on that team are incredible. Although I know full well, if Haren is still leading in the important stats come year end, but only has 15 wins, he will not win the award.

You know what, record is just meaningless. Haren's stats on that team are incredible. Although I know full well, if Haren is still leading in the important stats come year end, but only has 15 wins, he will not win the award.

Lincecum was first and second in most of the same stats, with 18 wins and he won. But i think his 265ks helped him.

Haren def. is going to be in the top 5 for sure at the end of the voting!
