only 6 points seperate the number 2 seed tri city and number 4 seed spokane, so Spokane is more solid that their Seed may suggest.

And while Seattle is the 5 seed, they trail Spokane by 20 points, barely hanging on to a winning record.

Bowman, Wahl, Johnson, Koper, and Roman will be too much for Rookie Goalender Calvin Pickard. But Seattle is pretty solid at home, and have had luck in Spokane this season.

Ill go with Spokane in 6 as well, if Pickard stands on his head in a couple games it could go 7.

Close game all night, seattle scored first 1-0 after 1. then spokane 1-1 after 2, 7 or so left in the third spokane scored again, won 2-1 in a nail biter.

Dustin Tokarski- 31 saves/32 shots

Jared Spurgeon- 3 slides to prevent goals, broke up 3 breakaway by diving and getting a stcik in there, 12 slapaways when it was him and one forward

Drayson Bowman- 2 goals and 12 shots

am i right in remembering that the winner of the 1/8 battle faces the winner of the 4/5 battle?

The four Clubs winning first round series in each Conference will advance to the second round, where they will be ranked in order of regular season points. The Clubs will be paired 1 - 4, and 2 - 3 in best of seven series.

Haha, I was pulling for the tips to.....Tri Cities.....dont get me started

Spokane won 5-3, it was a good game, but Spokane had control the whole time.

Seattle's coach Sumner lost the game for them- It was 4-2 and seattle had a 6-4, 2 man advantage. They scored to make it 4-3.

Next puck drop, all of a sudden the seattle coaches are going crazy on the bench while the play is going on. It turns out that The penalty box guy accidentally let out Drayson Bowman instead of Brett Bartman (big difference in ability)

After things get settled, Bartman comes out, Bowman goes back in the box, everything is good, but Sumner is still yelling at the refs for no reason at all. He got what he wanted but hes still yelling. After about 15 seconds of screaming at the ref, he gets a technical, ruined the 6-4 advantage and it had to be 5-4 with Seattle's goalie, Pickard still out. After the penalty sumner is still yelling all over the place and he gets ejected which energized our team and our defense war rock solid after that. Game ended with drayson bowman on a 1 on 1 breakaway towards and empty net and with his amazing hands (Reminds me of Pavel Datsyuk) goes through the defenders feet, kicks it to the right, spins off of him and one hand on a stick backhand flips it top shelf. Best play I've seen from him all year, he will be a Carolina Hurricane next year, unfortunate for us.
