Anyone from the New England area (or beyond) going to this show this weekend. Not the same as the November show, which is the best area show every single year. Probably 60% of the dealers/tables, but still should be decent. Anyone planning on going? I am not setting up, but plan on trying to be there both Friday and Saturday.

I might go early Friday.
Does Beckett do RCR review and have it done within a couple hours?

Might bring some stuff to JSA.

I would think Friday early would be pretty quiet? Big signers start at night.

Usually Friday is hit and miss with this show. In November, Friday was an awesome day for me. I plan on being there early early.

I am pretty sure BGS is going to RCR, and if you are in early enough, the turnaround should be pretty quick.

Stopped in for a quick run through today. PSA, BGS and JSA are all there. Got free SMR at PSA booth when you walk in. Was going to do RCR at Beckett, but wasn't sure how long it would take. Didn't bring anything with me.
Lots tables and cool stuff to look at. I think it's gems cards had boatload of red Chrome autos.
DA had some good deals on wax. Got hobby box Pinnacle puck from last year for $19. Thought about a box Leaf golf. They had it for $85 a box. Only Leaf golf I saw on the floor.

Nice selection of photos for those going for autos. Will be interesting on how Rodman does. With him in news being broke and going to jail soon for not paying alimony. Wonder if he is getting straight cash for his signing.

The people from JSA didn't get any nicer. I don't kno if anyone remembers the bad experience I had with them a few years ago, but for the money they charge for their opinion, they could be at least courteous. I brought the helmet I posted in the link above and they said $200. Had to get the whole thing done even though I just wanted the Jerry Rice. Their answers to questions put me off so much I didn't bother getting it done. Rude. I should have kept my $7

Quick recap:

NOTHING like the November. maybe 60% of the tables. Prices were high throughout the room. D&A were there with decent prices on wax, Seymour had Leaf Golf at his table. Auto guests seemed to be priced real high, and there was some questions circulating about whether Rodman would be making his appearance this weekend.

BGS, JSA and PSA were all there. BGS was doing RCR, but, unless you got them in by 12:30, you weren't getting them back today. Seemed like they had a very busy day.

If you've been to the November show, you'll see how different this Altman show is. Way too much room in the aisles. Not nearly as many dealers. Glad I had a dealer badge, as don't think it's worth the $7 admission.

Yup, it was a disappointment especially for $7. No one was on the front wall and the whole back of the place was tables for people to sit.
