Ike Davis,Mets starting first basemen?

I hope not. I love the ST #s and hype and HOPE that comes, but he needs some AAA time. Maybe a June call up if Murphy is not hitting.

Ike is the hype of the spring. Wish I had that 1 of 1 but you know what I am happy for what I got for it. Three HOF for a guy who might be the next Mike Jacobs.

Guess who just pitched 1 1/3 perfect innings in relief by striking out all four batters he faced?

Ike will be better than Jacobs ;)

I foresee him as being 25-30/90-100 type

But if you are happy with the deal, that is what counts!

My man Jeff Niemann went 4 strong innings today, which is unusual for a spring game at this point. Only 2 hits allowed, 1 was a HR.

Hellickson also went 1.1 innings and struck out 4 but it was at the end of the game against AA players so I can't really take anything from that.

No-namer Cole Garner keeps doing quite well (consistency). Unfortunately, I doubt simply doing well (implying: Unnoticed heat) will increase this aging player's Chrome.
