Last year, I got a broke Evan Longoria bat. He told me there were only 5 made. He was trying them out. I glued it with Gorilla glue and had him sign it the next day.

This year will be my fourth going down to Florida with my Dad. It is one of the best experiences i have ever had, and we started talking about this years trip as soon as we got back last year. I have been very lucky with autos and GU stuff. Here is some of the highlights that I have gotten:

Game Used:
Robinson Cano Bat
Justin Snyder Bat (Yankees Minor Leaguer)
Sergio Santos Bat/Auto (I think he is with the Twins now)
Yankees BP Ball

And some of the Better IP autos that I have gotten:(most are pictured in my bucket)
Derek Jeter (OMLB Side Panel)
Alex Rodriguez (SS OMLB)
Hideki Matsui (SS OMLB)
Regie Jackson (SS OMLB)
Austin Jackson (GU minor league ball SS)
Yogi Berra (SS OMLB)
Joba Chamberlain (8x10 on photo i shot)
Ryan Howard
Evan Longoria

It is awesome, and my luck gets better with each year, most of the things on the list above i got last year. I would suggest bringing at least 2 baseballs to every game, and pictures/cards as needed. I usually just stick to baseballs, but hopefully this year i can get some bats signed as well.

How many of you guys and ladies plan on going this year? I am for my senior trip staying in Phoenix. Have a couple of questions as well. How many baseballs should i bring if i want to get autos? How expensive are tickets and what park is the easiest to reach players to get autos? The final question are players much more willing to sign during Spring Training then the regular season?

Love this time of year (second favorite to AFL season)
As for how many baseballs, if you got 2 dozen, you'd get 2 dozen signed eventually.
Depends on who you want, if you want just single signed balls, but if you aren't super picky, you could knock out a dozen in a day easily. Tickets aren't too bad, varies slightly on where you go, and where you sit. (8-25 dollars)
Maryvale Park is my homebase park because it's the Brewers stadium, but it's also the easiest to reach the players. There's a part on the right field side of the park that they have to walk through to get to the clubhouse, and that's where most of the action is. If you're going with autographs in mind, you may as well not spend more than 8 bucks on a ticket, because from that area you can see the game just fine, and you'll run into all the players up there (lawn tickets) - Not all parks have lawn tickets either.
It seems the players are much more willing to sign during spring, but of course you get the guys that are never easy. (Prince Fielder is pretty tough)
Also, if you're able to spot the visiting teams' bus or parking lot, that would come in handy. Then again, you can't see that from Maryvale, it's in a private area.

Man, I can't wait!

You've got some really nice stuff there. It's mest up how Jeter signed that ball for you right below an upside down Rawlings. I actually obtained these in person on two days at Yankee Stadium since I live 17 minutes away from it:

Miss living in Florida. Would go to practice, pitchers/catchers, and the games when they started. Why did I come back to Jersey again?

That's the same thing that I asked my cousin the other day. She was born in NY and worked in NY. She decided to move to FL and worked at a bank. Than she moved back to NY at Bank of America. Now she's back at FL within a year.
