We were down the first base line by the foul pole for game six. The feeling when Hamilton hit the homerun was gut wrenching. The feeling when freese hit his hr was unbelievable ! The stadium went nuts freese freese freese. Lol the ladies next to us left in the top of the ninth

That is hard to believe they bailed like that, shame on them.I would be so pissed to leave early like that, and miss the miraculous ending to that game.

There are not any marks on it really, you can tell where the ball hit either the bat or the seat because he did not catch it on the fly. I have watched the video, the guy who grabs it is the same guy (same clothes anyway) from the picture and the guy in the picture is the same as on the drivers licence and the guy on the license is the guy that is talked about in the article and the guy talked about in that articles eBay name was in there the guy that bought the ball showed us records of buying it on eBay from the other guy. Hahaha so no it doesn't talk about any marks but the evidence that has been provided is more than enough for me to believe in its authenticity. The guy we bought it from allowed us to make payments over 4 months. He placed the ball in a bank vault thing and sent us pictures of it while it was in there to prove he had not swapped baseballs. Lmao it is crazy how well handled this ball has been since it was caught.

Awesome story.I was just watching Game 6 the other night on my DVD collection.I even turned on the Rangers radio broadcast, wanted to hear their angle of the game.

WE were about to bail and decided to stick around to watch the Rangers celebrate. That is how we ended up watching it from Left Center because we were walking to gate 5 to leave......but we stuck around and the rest is Cardinals history. It was amazing and honestly I still have not full appreciated how special that was. I know 10-15 years from now I am going to be at a game and the question will come up do you remember Game 6 of the 2011 World Series and I will be able to say I WAS THERE! Crazy. Other cool moments I have attended
2004- NLCS Game 7. The night Edmonds made "The Catch"
2005- Busch Stadiums Final Regular Season Game
2006- Busch Stadium III Inagural Game
2006- Seat Cushion Night
2006- All of the home playoff games
2006 World Series every home game except when they clinched.
2009 MLB All Star Game (All Events)
2011 World Series all home games except 2
2012 I am going tonight

Awesome stuff.I have bought every Cardinals DVD collection, and have a lot of those games in the sets.Need to go back and watch Game 7 of the '04 NLCS.Wish Game 6 of that series was on DVD somewhere, that was one of my favorite games!

Are you in standing room for all of these games?Where is this section? How much are they? How bad does the view suck?I've never been in that section before.

Who does he trade for?Does the post office kill you in shipping to Japan? How much was it to send a padded envelope? How do you track it over there?Never shipped overseas before.

We couldn't believe they left either. Funny story on why we went that game. Buddy of my goes to game 1 and texted me "said tickets are selling below face value outside the stadium" by that time it was too late(we live about 70 miles south of st Louis). So my son and I go up for game two, top of stadium they are wanting 350 and up. So I said forget it. I told my boy that if the cards made it back for game six I would by them off stub hub to ensure we got in. When the rangers won game five we got lucky and ticket prices dropped. :) worked out pretty well. We paid 235 per ticket and I gotta say it was well worth it.

There are standing room sections all over Busch Stadium. They are marked by yellow lines. NLCS Game 7 04 was SRO at the top of old Busch Stadium. Final game i was in Suite 70. 2006- 2009 each of those I was in Section 593 Row 12 Seat 17 (we had season tickets 17 was my favorite seat, in the bleachers)
SRO is probably the best deal if you dont mind standing. I also went to every home playoff game in 2011 sat in various seats. Most of the SRO sections have good views. There are a few at he top that suck. At big games SRO sections can get like 3-5 deep of people standing. Still decent view. It really helps if you are fairly tall.

Trades for Dellin Betances or Carlos Quentin cards. No clue what shipping was, I would guess it is not that bad. no clue how to track either maybe go talk to your local post office

Don't even know what to say about last nights game. Not sure how things would have turned out had the call gone the other way, but we move on. Time to take down the Nats!

Well, I had gotten a little bored with what had been coming out recently and nothing new really hitting the market for my Yadi collection, so I started commisioning some sketch cards from people on etsy and ebay. Here's the first wave of them. Some are definitely better than others and there are a couple that are pretty bad that I've not scanned. But it's a cheap way to add something original to the collection. This is what I've got so far, should have another 8 coming my way in the next couple weeks.

That is very surprising tickets were below face value outside stadium.I thought standing room tickets were well above $235?If I had known they were that cheap, hell, I might have made the long drive over.Doesn't MLB set ticket prices the same for each game?Where did you sit for Game 6?

You must live very close where I grew up then. You in Perryville area?

White ink cards look nice. They actually look better than some of the silver ink I've been seeing out of this set.

Went and met Ozzie Smith and Tim McCarver today! Meeting Mike Shannon tomorrow morning. We were getting McCarver on '06 and '11 world series balls, handed them to him logos up asked to sign under the logos and signed both of them on the sweet spot because he was talking about last nights cardinals game. Funny moment with Whitey Herzog (who was next to Ozzie Smith) A guy asked to get his picture taken with whitey because there were 4 people in line for him he says Are we starting this bullXXXX already, and started laughing. He posed for the picture with the guy though. We got Ozzie on a 16x20.

When did you get that?I can't believe Lohse is a borderline Cy Young candidate. He was one of the worst starters in the league 2 years ago.

I got it from Goldenegg1 some time last year. It's from one of the shirts off their backs days in 09. Got a great deal on it. He's been super impressive this year and is going to get a big payday this off season.
